Royal Nature Magnesium Power 1kg
SKU:$34.95
Royal Magnesium Chloride powder – is harvested from the unique waters of the Dead Sea. Each liter of Dead Sea water contains 170 grams of Magnesium Chloride.
The manufacturer uses vast solar energy pans to evaporate these brines to 33% concentration.
Magnesium Chloride is obtained through further dehydration by heat and flaking/palletizing processes. At about 47% concentration, our material is white, is consistently of good, stable quality and free of Ammonia.
Dirctions of Use
Please prepare a canister of 5 liters.
Dissolve 2 kg of Royal Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate in 4 liter of R/O water and then fill the rest with R/O water. If not using sea salt (without NACL) it’s recommended to dissolve another 200 grams of Magnesium Sulfate-Heptahydrate in the solution. Larger or smaller canisters can also be used, you will simply need to extrapolate the quantities added for each canister.
Depending on the volume of the tank each solution is now monitored manually in order to determine the actual levels needed. Before adding any solution, you have to determine the actual water values.
Example:
50 ml of this solution in a 500-liter tank.
Value before dosing = 1200 ppm of Magnesium. After 2-3 hours repeat the test and have found that the Magnesium value after the 2nd test is 1250 ppm of Magnesium. In this example 50 ml of this solution increased the Magnesium value by 50 mg/liter for a 500-liter tank.
Now program the dosing pump to add 7 ml of the solution once a day, so 50 ml of the solution will divide over a week.
In that way you can calculate the loss of Magnesium as a result of corals growth and add the amount needed to achieve the required values.
