Unlike pH up and down, KH generator stabilises the pH and locks it in.
Just add 1 Level teaspoon (by measure) or 8 grams per 10 liters of water to raise carbonate hardness by approximately 16dkh or 286ppm and bring the pH to between 8.0 and 8.4.
