Unlike pH up and down, KH generator stabilises the pH to neutral and locks it in.
Just add 1 heaped teaspoon (by measure) or 5 grams per 10 liters of water to raise carbonate hardness by approximately 7dkh or 125ppm and will bring the pH to 7 or around neutral.
